We can help by covering part of the training costs for new employees to develop skills they need.
Paid Internships
We oversee a program that offers youth and adults a short-term entry-level pathway to your company, at no cost to you. Helping you build a potential talent pipeline and equip trainees with essential workforce readiness skills.
Employee Advancement & Upskilling
We can help cover part of the training costs for upskilling employees and you select the training program that fits your needs. Training costs can be reimbursed up to 90% based on your company’s employee size.
Other Public Workforce Partner Training Programs
Washington State Community and Technical Colleges have two workforce training programs:
- Customized Training (CTP)provides interest-free loan training assistance to businesses.
- Job Skills Program (JSP)can fund half of the training cost for businesses.

Small Business Accelorator Grants
In partnership with the WA State Department of Commerce and other key stakeholders, we oversee a specific workforce development program that supports local small business workforce capitol growth.
Note: Local boards may have slight policy or funding variations that their local boards have directed them to follow specific to their workforce areas.
